Standard, Deluxe, Collector’s, and legacy preorder bonus

EA lists Standard and Deluxe editions for sale. Both include the base game. The Deluxe Edition additionally lists the Grand Army of the Republic and Shadow Collective cosmetic packs plus five painted weapon themes. The Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack was a preorder bonus for eligible purchases made before August 27, 2026; it is not described as a standard post-launch entitlement.

EA Help also confirms that Standard Edition owners can buy the Deluxe Edition Upgrade. Deluxe cosmetic outfits are available during Hawks customization, while painted weapon themes become available after the initial battle tutorial.

EA’s September 9 Patch 1.1 notes say an issue preventing some players from receiving preorder or Deluxe Edition items is fixed. Eligibility rules and the in-game unlock steps below are unchanged.

EA’s official game page also links to a separate Limited Run Collector’s Edition for PS5, Xbox, and PC. The US listing prices it at $299.99 and says orders close September 13, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. It includes the game plus a SteelBook, retro jewelcase, electronic thermal detonator, desk mat, pins, character cards, patches, and a certificate of authenticity. Limited Run says console games ship ahead of the collector’s box; PC codes for post-launch orders are sent within three working days.

How the preorder bonus unlocks

The Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack is not usable immediately. EA says to complete the Smugglers’ Manifest Operation in Cycle 5, complete any available Mission from the Holotable, then return to the Den and speak with M-3VO. EA estimates players usually reach this point after about one hour, but the timing varies by playstyle.

EA Play Pro access

EA says the game is available now through EA Play Pro on PC. This premium membership is offered through the EA app only; it is not the standard EA Play tier and is not available through Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, or Xbox.

Launch FAQ: monetization and future support

The official launch FAQ says there are currently no plans for additional monetization or microtransactions. It does not announce DLC or other post-launch content, the game is not Steam Deck Verified at launch, and official mod support is not planned.

New Game+ is not available at launch. The FAQ does say that subsequent playthroughs unlock certain customization options, but it does not describe those unlocks as a full New Game+ mode.
