Current patch status

EA has acknowledged the issues below, but its public news list and official Steam announcements do not yet contain numbered patch notes or a fix-version announcement. A workaround is not confirmation that the underlying issue is fixed.

Quit only after Hawks is under direct control

An EA Community Manager says that quitting while the player is not in direct control of Hawks can, in some cases, prevent the game from finishing its save. EA’s current advice is to wait until Hawks is under direct control after returning to the hub, then wait a few seconds before quitting.

The notice is tagged for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. EA has not named a patch version or confirmed a permanent fix in that notice.

Acknowledged NVIDIA and Intel PC crashes

EA says it is aware of crashes on PCs using certain NVIDIA GPUs or Intel processors. For crashes while DLSS is enabled with NVIDIA Game Ready Driver 610.88 or older, EA recommends updating to the latest Game Ready Driver.

EA also points to instability affecting some Intel Core 13th- and 14th-generation desktop processors. Its guidance is to update the system BIOS and follow the system or motherboard manufacturer’s instructions.

GTX 10-series and RTX 20-series performance

For supported NVIDIA GTX 10-series and RTX 20-series cards that meet the minimum specification, EA says complex environmental detail can add rendering overhead. Its published workaround is to open Options → Graphics and set Environment Geometry Detail to Off, which may stabilize or improve frame rates.

General troubleshooting is not a known-issues list

EA Help separately recommends checking for game and platform updates, verifying or repairing PC game files, updating graphics drivers, clearing platform caches, and checking EA or platform service status. These are broad diagnostic steps; they do not confirm that every crash, freeze, black screen, or missing-content report is a recognized game defect.
