Patch status

EA says Patch 1.1 is live. This page summarizes the changes most likely to affect play or purchase-support decisions; the official notes remain the complete changelog.

Saves, crashes, and owned items

  • Fixed save corruption that could occur after a sudden or forced shutdown.
  • Fixed temporarily deleted Beskar saves and a separate Beskar-mode crash.
  • Fixed various crashes and visual stutters.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented some players from receiving preorder or Deluxe Edition items.

EA also updated its minimum suggested NVIDIA and AMD drivers to current game-ready versions. It did not publish driver version numbers in the patch notes.

Combat and progression corrections

The update fixes shots missing at a displayed 100% hit chance, Tier 2–4 Scatterguns using Tier 1 values, several Overwatch targeting faults, doubled Ion Blaster critical damage, and multiple Tel-Rea damage or bonus calculations. It also corrects secondary-specialization Cross Training availability at Relationship level +8 and specialization checks during Operations.

Missions, tutorials, and customization

Patch 1.1 prevents Tel-Rea’s hero mission from ending one survival turn early, resolves several strategy-layer progression blocks, and lets players back out of the Weapon Mods tutorial. The notes also list fixes for character editing, Operator names, previews, outfits, cinematics, and encounter targeting.

What the notes do not confirm

“Fixed various crash issues” is not a claim that every crash is gone. EA Help still publishes its wait-until-Hawks-is-controlled saving guidance and its hardware-specific NVIDIA and Intel troubleshooting. Those items remain tracked in the known issues guide until EA explicitly closes them.
